Abstract
The present data fail to confirm Bell''s hypothesis regarding the sex-linked nature of differences in tactile sensitivity and strength. In particular there is no evidence that boys are stronger than girls, if birth weight is controlled. There is evidence that girls have a lower electro-tactual threshold than boys.Keywords
