Row trials of grasses at Molesworth station

Abstract
A report is given of the performance of some 40 species of introduced grasses grown in rows in a nursery at 2,900 ft altitude in Marlborough, New Zealand, during trials extending over 10 years. Under the described conditions and for the strains used, the more attractive species included, in alphabetical order: Agropyron cristatum, A. elongatum, A. intermedium, Bromus inermis, and Dactylis woronowii.
