Efficient 1.55 µm-band quasi-phase-matched ZnO-doped LiNbO 3 wavelength converter with high damage resistance

Abstract
A quasi-phase-matched LiNbO3 wavelength converter using a ZnO-doped substrate is reported. The normalised conversion efficiency of 450%/W is obtained. Owing to the converter's high damage resistance, difference frequency generation conversion efficiency of −1 dB is achieved at 80°C.
