Abstract
Two cases of sarcoidosis were treated with corticotrophin. Although there was no objective improvement of the hypopituitarism, there was a marked subjective improvement during and shortly after treatment. The importance of recognizing sarcoidosis as a possible cause of pituitary dysfunction was emphasized. It was felt that treatment with ACTH or cortisone was not purely substitutional, but affected the course of the disease. Keywords
