Abstract
A simple glassvare washing procedure has been developed which permits rapid and complete binding of cell suspensions to glass roller bottles. By leaving the glass surface in contact with 1 mM Mg(CH3COO)2for a few hours followed by removal of excess Mg(CH3COO)2 and auto-claving, it is possible to obtain a glass surface that is very effective in binding cell suspensions in such roller bottles. This procedure is very effective for glassware which has been extensively washed to remove radioactive materials.
