Abstract
This study analyzes the content of 82 dial‐a‐porn recordings. No violent themes such as rape or bondage were found. Violent acts were typically suggested by the female, and in recordings characterized by dominance, the female was the dominant party. Due to a variety of public policy initiatives, it appears that dial‐a‐porn, at least in recorded form, has moved from 900 numbers to 800 and long‐distance numbers. Keywords
