Abstract
Mackey's theory is used to study the kinematics of a nonrelativistic two‐particle system. We consider the helicity coupling and the l‐S coupling and derive a Jacob‐Wick's formula relating these two couplings (Glebsch‐Gordan coefficients).Keywords
