Abstract
This report describes a simple iodination procedure for [mu]g or mg quantities of proteins using chloramine-T as the oxidizing agent. The efficiencies of iodination for most proteins vary between 40 to 90%, depending upon the particular protein. Fifty proteins were labeled by this method with little or no detectable denaturation. Keywords
