Abstract
The fluorescence spectrum of benzotrifluoride has been studied using various sources of excitation. The spectrum consists of about 36 bands for which assignments are given according to the symmetry properties of the molecule. The analysis is in agreement with that of the absorption spectrum. In the region of overlap, fluorescence and absorption bands show close coincidence. Keywords
