Abstract
The necropsy findings in 14 cases of amoebiasis in children aged from 16 months to 8 years are reported. One case of amoebic cerebral abscess is described in full. The main clinical presentation is diarrhoea of short duration and high fever. Microscopic examination of the stoools, at the out-patient clinic, should be done in children with these symptoms if more cases are to be diagnosed early. Keywords
