Abstract
This research examines tourism in Antarctica, one of the world's last tourism fron tiers. The article provides an overview of the development of tourism in Antarctica, visitor activity, and the impacts of sea, air, and land-based tourism. The article indicates that a number of management options are available but the legal and policy dimensions surround ing Antarctica demand the establishment of an international Antarctic tourism convention.Keywords
