On the spreading of two-dimensional percolation

Abstract
New high statistics measurements of the spreading dimension d for two-dimensional percolation are presented. The value d=1.675+or-0.005 excludes, in particular, a recent conjecture of Havlin and Nossal (1984).Keywords
