Abstract
The metabolic fate of [4-3H]phenylalanine incubated with isolated hepatocytes has been investigated. Analysis of3H2O production and fluorimetric estimation of tyrosine production has allowed calculation of flux through phenylalanine hydroxylase and homogentisate oxidase. The resulting flux determinations are physiologically relevant and hormonally sensitive. This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
