Abstract
A computer-aided design model was developed to analyse millimeter wave rectangular waveguide circuits. Particular attention was paid to cap circuits and Pretuned Modules for Gunn and IMPATT diodes in the W band (75-110 GHz). The theoretical results are verified through comparison with experimental ones in the Ku band (12-18 GHz). The influence of the main cap circuit parameters are analysed in order to provide a final matching adjustment possibility in the case of pretuned modules. Keywords
