Abstract
Block polymers based on the monomers styrene, butadiene and isoprene are described, which exhibit high strength and elastomeric properties without vulcanization. The solubility and thermoplasticity of these polymers lead to their use in adhesives. Solvents, resins, and anti-oxidants suitable for use with these polymers are discussed and examples given of their use in contact, pressure sensitive, and hot melt adhesives. Keywords
