Abstract
The effects of Ca2+ on the microsomal glucose-6-phosphatase activity were investigated. Evidence is provided that increases by Ca2+ in both the pyrophosphatase and the glucose-6-phosphate-hydrolysing activities are due to an increase in microsomal transport capacity of T2, the phosphate/pyrophosphate-transport protein. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
