Abstract
Experimental determinations of total cross sections for the scattering of monoenergetic positrons in the range 20-1000 eV in neon and 200-1000 eV in argon are reported. The present results in both gases for positrons in the range 200-1000 eV lie close to, but in general slightly lower than, recently published theoretical data. Keywords
