Abstract
The elastic energy of straight dislocations in and normal to the basal plane of an alumina crystal was studied as a function of temperature in the range 0–900°K. It was found that between 400 and 900°K the temperature dependence of dislocation energy is nearly linear. Approximate formulas for the linear relationships are presented. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
