The roentgenologic features of pineal tumors are very incompletely described in the current textbooks of radiology. Our series of 12 cases demonstrates a number of features which are not at all well known. The incidence of calcification detectable roentgenologically appears to have been greatly exaggerated in the literature. All 12 of our cases were histologically proven.
