Abstract
We use the renormalization group to improve the ultraviolet aspect of the program of Yennie, Frautschi, and Suura for the cancellation and exponentiation of infrared divergences in Abelian gauge theories. Possible applications to high-precision physics at the Stanford Linear Collider and CERN LEP are considered.
