Abstract
To determine the incidence of bone metastasis in patients with osteogenic sarcoma, hospital charts of all patients dying of bone malignancy in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, hospitals from 1953 through 1964 were reviewed. Bone metastases were found in 15 of the 33 patients with documented osteogenic sarcoma. Bone metastases appear to be common and should be routinely looked for among patients with this disease.
