Abstract

Chemical studies showed that tomatillidine and dihydrotomatillidine, steroidal alkaloids obtained from Solanum tomatillo, are described in revised structures. An isomerization of .DELTA.22(N)-22,26-imino-23-one moiety to .DELTA.23(N)-23,26-imino-22-one is a major topic.
