Abstract
Antifungal compounds are capable of influencing both the total glutathione content and the glutathione-dependent redox potential (GSH:GSSG ratio) in Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary. The existence of glutathione reductase in P. infestans as the key enzyme for the conversion of oxidized glutathione into the reduced form has been demonstrated. The effect of its inhibition is discussed in the paper. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
