Abstract
Slow reorientation of `stripe domains' driven by a constant ac magnetic field was observed by the Bitter technique in evaporated polycrystalline Ni, Fe, Co and Ni-Fe films. In terms of this effect, the relaxation phenomenon of B-H loops first observed by Huber and Smith in `mottled' Permalloy films was fully explained. Keywords
