Abstract
The morphology of a new species, T. geonoma, associated with the Australian burrowing isopod P. terricola is given. The temnocephalids are blind and unpigmented and have 5 tentacles. The central tentacle is reduced in size and less mobile than the remainder. The intestine possesses lateral septal partitions. The penis tube has a pronounced curvature, and a ventral extension of the female canal functions as a copulatory bursa. Emphasis is placed on the functions of the parenchymal glands and structure of the male and female genital complexes. Keywords
