Chronic Mesangioproliferative IgA Glomerulonephritis Complicated by a Rapidly Progressive Course in a 14-Year-Old Boy

IgA nephropathy of 5-years’ duration in a 14-year-old boy evolved into diffuse crescentic glomerulonephritis with rapid progression to terminal renal failure. This report suggests that in rare cases IgA nephropathy may develop an aggressive course.
