Abstract

Eight alkaloids have been isolated from Lycopodium annotinum L. Two of these, lycopodine and obscurine, had been described previously. The remaining six bases appear to be new. They are annotinine (L7) (C₁₆H₂₁O₃N), alkaloid L8 (C₁₆H₂₅O₂N), alkaloid L9 (C₁₆H₂₅O₂N), alkaloid L10 (C₁₆H₂₇ON), alkaloid L11 (C₁₆H₂₁O₃N), and alkaloid L12 (C₁₈H₂₅O₃N).
