Abstract
The preparation of lithium bis(isopropenyl) cuprate, 1, is critically dependent on the purity of the copper (I)iodide used. When this is controlled 1 can be obtained in satisfactory yields and utilized synthetically in coupling reactions and conjugate additions.Keywords
