Abstract
New arene–molybdenum derivatives are described of stoicheiometry PhRMo(π-C3H5)Y [Y =π-C3H5, π-C3H4Me, π-C3H4(CH2·CN), π-C3H4(CH2·OMe), MeCO2, NH2·CH2·CO2, or NH2·CH2·CH2S; R = H or Me] and of stoicheiometry [PhRMo(π-C3H5)L2]+PF6 –(or BF4 –)[L2= butadiene, MeS·CH2·CH2·SMe, bipyridyl, ethylene-diamine, or Ph2P·CH2·CH2·PPh2]; the dication [C6H6Mo(Me2PhP)3H2]2 2+ formed by addition of two protons to the neutral compound C6H6Mo(Me2PhP)3.Keywords
