Abstract
The essential oil of Plectranthus defoliatus was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The main oil component was found to be piperitenone epoxide (53–88%). No antimicrobial activity against bacterial flora from raw milk (mainly lactic acid bacteria) was found.Keywords
