Abstract
Chondrosarcoma of the larynx is a rare tumor that usually is low grade both in histology and biologic aggressiveness; local ablative surgery is curative in most cases. We present a case of this tumor with additional malignant mesenchymal component, so-called dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma--an entity which, when found in other areas, has carried a much poorer prognosis. Keywords
