Abstract
Pulmonary hypertension due to tumor emboli is a rare complication of malignant diseases. A patient is presented in whom symptoms and signs of acute cor pulmonale were caused by tumor cells and carcinomatous endarteritis occluding the pulmonary microvasculature. A concise review of the previous literature is also presented.
