Abstract
A new method for enlarging a small pupil during cataract extraction is described. The technique is simple and safe, and uses new instruments that reduce or entirely eliminate the need to incise or suture the iris. This method of pupil enlargement can be used for extracapsular cataract extraction and phacoemulsification procedures. Keywords
