Abstract
The essential oil obtained from flowering shoots of Salvia multicaulis Vahl (Labiatae) was analyzed by GC/MS. Twenty-nine components were identified representing 99–5% of the oil with bornyl acetate (18.1%), β-caryophyllene (16.5%), α-pinene (15.6%), 1,8-cineole (8.3%) and limonene (8.3%) as major constituents.Keywords
