Abstract
HYPEBGLYCEMIA is often associated with acute myocardial infarction. However, its significance and possible relation to diabetes mellitus remain obscure. The present study was under-taken to elucidate this problem.Material and MethodsA group of 145 out of 167 consecutive patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to the Department of Cardiology at the K.E.M. Eight were suffering from hypertension. The blood sugar, fasting and an hour and a half after 100 gm. of glucose was given, was estimated in . . .This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
