Abstract
The complete set of gauge-neutral matter superfields (singlets) is parametrized for an R-symmetric three-generation Calabi-Yau superstring compactification. Unlike the number of matter 27s and 27*s, the number of singlets increases when the defining polynomials are made R-symmetric. We also verify the existence of certain flat directions in the field space which enables one to deform this (2, 2)-compactification into an asymmetric (2, 0)-compactification.Keywords
