Abstract
Single-particle distributions of protons and hyperons in proton-hadron collisions are examined. The shapes and energy dependences of them are described by “an interpolation formula” proposed previously, by assuming the dominance of the H ⊗P type which exhibits the limiting behaviour in the proton fragmentation region. Expecially, the behaviour of them at small x agrees with the double-Regge aspect of the formula. In addition to the H ⊗P type, the diffractive contribution is important for the proton spectra at x ∼1, and the development of a dip in the spectra at x ≃0.9 is due to the decrease of the latter with increasing energy. Keywords
