Abstract
A new analytical procedure for the determination of thiamine and its mono-, di- and triphosphoric esters in rat tissue is described. The method allows a mean thiamine recovery of 95%, and good reproducibility. In all the rat tissues studied, thiamine di-phosphate was most abundant thiamine phosphoric ester, but small amounts of thiamine tri- and mono-phosphate were also found. Keywords
