Abstract
We present conductivity σ and partly thermopower S measurements for the liquid alkali metal‐gold alloys at the equiatomic composition. The conductivity ranges from very high values for metallic LiAu to relatively small values for ionic CsAu. The conductivity data indicate that in the liquid the transition from ionic to metallic character takes place between RbAu and KAu.Keywords
