Abstract
Comatricha nodulifera sp. nov., which developed on tree bark in a moist chamber, is described and its cultivation on agar media from spores discussed. This species differs from all other known comatrichas in bearing numerous, minute nodule-like swellings on the ultimate branches of the capillitium, a character which is stable when the organism is cultured on various media. The Plasmodium is an aphanoplasmodium. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
