Abstract
Whilst the plasma CEA levels in pancreatic carcinoma tend to be higher than in pancreatitis, knowledge of the plasma CEA level is of little additional value in the differential diagnosis of malignant and non-malignant pancreatic disease, and contributes little to the clinical management of such disorders. Keywords
