Abstract
A case of spinal block which developed after a 2nd top-up of local anesthetic (bupivicaine) during segmental epidural analgesia in labor is described. The incidence of similar cases is reviewed. The importance of aspiration and the injection of a test dose before every top-up is stressed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
