Abstract
The host nuclear magnetic resonance spectra for dilute copper alloys with group VIIIa transition metal impurities have been obtained. The spectra verify that Co and Fe impurities are 'magnetic' whereas Ni, Pd and Pt impurities are not. For the non-magnetic impurities the electric field gradients and the order of magnitude of the Knight shifts at neighbouring sites have been determined. Keywords
