Abstract
Merely by changing the pH of simplex solutions anisotropic simplex gels were formed by charging or reversing the charge of one of the components. This new way of structure formation was investigated more closely and it was found that synthetic and native amphi-ions and also proteins as gels with ordered particles, accordingly with micellar structure, could be obtained in this way also. An application of the results to the morphogenesis of native structures is discussed and confirmed on the basis of recent histological findings.
