A Study of Orientation Information Given by One Trained Bee by Dancing

Abstract
A single bee in each experiment was trained to walk to a syrup supply at the far end of a tube 1–3 m long outside an observation hive. The orientation of recruited foragers could be attributed to the scent of the food source and also (to a lesser extent) to the information provided by the angle of the dance performed.
