Necrotic Ulcerations Secondary to Oral Neomycin Troches

Abstract
A patient has been reported in whom necrotic ulcerations of the legs developed following the oral administration of an antibiotic, anesthetic throat troche. The neomycin in the troche was considered to be the causative agent on the basis of basophil degranulaion tests.
