Abstract
Immediate intervention by social workers upon the first call by the patient or relative to the Alcohol Clinic significantly increased cooperation of relatives and the proportion of alcoholics accepting treatment as compared with the usual procedure of allowing an intervening 2 to 4 week evaluation period (N = 45).This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
