Abstract
Protected secretin, a 27‐peptide amide, was synthesized by the all‐repetitive excess mixed anhydride (REMA) method and purified by preparative reverse‐phase high‐performance liquid chromatography. Highly potent secretin was obtained after deprotection with the aid of HF/anisole and purification by ion‐exchange chromatography. The scope of the REMA‐strategy is discussed in comparison with other strategies. Keywords
