Abstract
A new type of enzymatic hydrolysis has been disclosed. A kind of yeast, Pichia miso, hydrolyzed enol esters such as 3-acetoxy-1-p-methoxybenzyloxy-2-methoxymethoxy-2-alkenes with differentiation of the enantiotopic face to afford optically active α-substituted ketones. Keywords
