Abstract
Active mitochondria were obtained from the whole fruit, peel, and pulp tissue of Cox's Orange Pippin apples during development on the tree from 30 days after petal fall until the onset of the respiration climacteric. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was added to the extraction medium to minimize inactivation by phenolic material present in the tissue.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
